Sigh  just looking at the apple site to see upcoming movies and saw leap year. Did work on set for this one and was hoping it might be a charming movie without the sterotype but after the trailer I see we are still the backward country the Americans think we are.

Is it to much to ask that a mainstream movie show Ireland as somewhat modern without the horrid accents???

Having met the director and amy Adams maybe I had unrealistic expectations for this one.

Anyway to see the trailer visit http://www.apple.com/trailers/iphone/universal/leapyear/trailer1/

Feel free to moan, or to praise. Free (backwards) country after all

So if we're to believe the plot is a piece of crap what about the scenary?

Where was it shot? Will we recognise anywhere?

Jeez, why the hostility? Its not like he was bragging about being involved in some amazing film...simply stating that he had hoped for better!

Good for you. Hey a credit on a movie is a great thing to have, hardly matters if the plot sucks when you did the sets right?

Fair play to you. What was Amy Adams like? I'm actually looking forward to seeing this but I'm a sucker for romantic comedies :)

This kind of film makes my boil but they probably make films set in ireland like this to play to the nostalgic irish-american audience.I mean what other reason is there make up such horrific lies???

can anyone think of any american made film that was actually decent???

It disappeared out of the cinemas here in the US almost as fast as it was released. I'm suprised it isnt already out on DVD.

Well holy god, I can't believe Hollywood is still depicting Ireland like this.
