65mm sounds light alright - do you have DEAP carried out on the design or a designer involved anywhere?

We went for 100mm Thermafloor. Foundation insulation make up might depend on whether you're going for underfloor heating.

    Some info here

the diagrams here show the perimeter insulation, between the slab/radon barrier / inner leaf blockwork

I believe that this is insulation between the slab edge and the wall - usually 15mm - 20mm thickness, and 150mm high as that is the thickness of your slab. Also used to allow expansion of the floor methinks.

Correct, it stops cold bridging and allows for expansion where underfloor heating is being used.

BTW I would not use less than 100mm insulation in the floor slab.
