Recently I've bought black DVDS with 120minute recording time but the DVD I want to burn a 3hr DVD onto them any suggestions?

And also is there anyway to remove the watermark on AVS or is there any other converter I could use for free that doesen't have a watermark?

some burning applications will allow you put the 3 hrs onto the dvd by reducing the quality

To fit more onto a dvd, some tips...

use AC3 (dolby) [if possible] rather than PCM

lower the bitrate, obviously the higher the bitrate the less you fit onto a disk

Use a 2 pass encode (again if possible with what ever software you have)

Do I download that AC3? Will that burn the DVD to a disc without showing the watermark?

Does the NERO free trial show the watermark on dvds?
;63486751]Nero with nero vision should do everything you need. The 120 minute thing is only for the lenght of max quality video you can put on. Its usually able for a lot more.
a normal 4.7gig dvd will hold about 60mins at the best quality not 120. You'd fit 120mins by bringing the compression bit-rate dow. to fit more than 2 hours you'd need to really whack it down... which is why your hollywood blockbuster is on a dual layer disk

to the OP, no AC3 is an audio format, if the software your using has the option of different audio compression go for the AC3. As for software, i think the likes of nero will burn a dvd without a watermark - can't say for sure as i generally use compressor/dvd studio for doing my dvds.

nero vision-goto more (at the bottom of the window)-video quality-dvd video(this has a drop down menu)
If you all ready have the dvd files import then into nero recode set it up to recode to a 4.7gb disc
