    Hi Guys,

Looking to get a new laptop for christmas.. Not really sure of the best websites to purchase off. Been looking at overclockers.. Looks like the best deals..

I basically want a laptop to play some medium to high demanding games on.. as well as the basics..

Ive been looking at this one.. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=LT-134-AC

It seems quite reasonably priced.. My limits probably under a 1000 but the cheaper the better ;)

    Thanks for the help..

Hi ballboy, check out www.laptopsdirect.ie. www.cnet.com is also a good review site. The key to finding the right laptop is by doing research. ie will you be using it for basic tasks like word processing, email, basic internet or do you plan to play games which require more RAM and a decent processor.

Go to Dell dude, seriously. Dont take my word for it but the after service is good now and you'll easily get a lappy to play any type of demanding game.

Ive heard both raving and seething reviews about Dell aftermarket service. Sometimes they go above and beyond, and other times they wont answer your calls, imply youre retarded, or replace your broken hardware with a cheap knockoff with barely half the performance of what you bought. True and horrifying stories.

But if youre lucky and God likes you, youll be one of the ones they take favor upon :)
