Trainer tyre for turbo

    Hey folks,

Please forgive this 'stupid' question from the newbie.

I recently purchased a turbo trainer and now I want to buy a trainer tyre for it.

How exactly does one measure the size of wheel and relevant tyre?

The trainer tyre comes in 2 options,

    1. 700 x 23c
    2. 26 x 1.75

Therefore, how do I find which tyre is suitable to my wheel?

Apologies if this is very obvious.

    Cheers,

    NT

As a rule, 700 is for road bikes and 26" is for mountain bikes.

For the absolute avoidance of doubt, check the sidewall of your existing tyres.
