Advice re buying a laptop

    Hi folks. My laptop died a few months ago and Im looking for somthing for image processing and gaming. I have had a few Acers but Im not really up to date on current tech.

    Budget: Im really looking only to spend around 800-1000

    Intended use: Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Empire Total War

    Mobility: Not really an issue either is battery life

    Warranty: Not an issue either

    What Operating System do you use? Would be looking for something with windows 7.

    I have no problem travelling around Ireland or the North to get one. If anyone has any ideas.....
