when is it time to get rid of it? is there a threshold or if you've a good figure, what ,matter? i've heard some think they're trashy or have "sell-by date", i think they're cool but then have had mine for years and years...

''Past a sell by date'.. for a body piercing? Ah come on, that's ridiculous. Do you know just how long ago people began experimenting with piercings?

Aside from that, if you like it and you're happy with it, keep it.

I've had mine done twice. Unfortunately after the first night at Oxegen it pulled out. But I would like it done again. It's up to you and what you like.

    I'm 29, and I still have mine since I was 17 :D

I love it!! Won't get rid of it until I get pregnant .. sometime. :)

I think once you hit the big 3-0 it's time to get rid of it. The same goes for when your belly starts to overhang your jeans - take it out, because it not only looks gross, but will also start to reject.

I had mine done when I was 13, still have it done plus my tongue. Ill keep it in until I either get a jelly belly or pregnant whichever comes first :D Id say after I have a baby though Id put it back in. My aunty is 41 and has hers done and its still lovely - 3 kids later and a washboard stomach :D

getting rid of it is ridiculous, a piercing is for YOU, not for anyone else, if you are happy with it (as with the rest of your appearance) keep it.

clothes style recently does not allow piercings to be seen publicly, other than been seen under a chiffon top, but generally its hidden (unless you choose to find clothes that show it off)

it is also not always nesessary to take it out during pregnancy, some people do not strech that much, and if so you can get flexable bars for the duration, you may be asked to take it off for the actual birth.

    well wear.

a-HA!! i wondered who might say this. i am in my 30's and i like mine. i've a good figure and my BF's have always admired it (although it's not for men, i like it)

HOW-ever, my last BF passes remark on it when we broke up recently. said it added to a perception of me of having been a bit of a "wild" person. so in the end, he really disapproved but only told me after we broke up. i was flabbergasted tbh but then wondered, would many people disapprove of them - should i just get rid of it since i'm over the 3-0 ?!!

No Paddles. If you like it and you're happy with it AND you have the body for it at 30 then fair fcuks to you. Keep it and be happy you look so good! ;)

Whenever you dont have the body for it anymore, regardless of age (within reason, as keeping it too long can make it seem a bit mutton dressed as desperate)
