BWE feedback thread: do you read it?

considering the fact that despite having less than 1/10 of the amount of posts the Discussion thread has in it, the Boards Wrestling Entertainment: Raw & SD thread has around 4 times as many views as it. Therefore we atlest know that not just those taking part are actually reading it. So I was wondering:

What do you think of the BWE?

What do you like or dislike about it/whats been in it?

what would you like to see in the BWE?

in a way this is also asking what you would like to see changed in the WWE too as we are trying to write a better version of the WWE afterall whilst adhering to certain factors i.e having to write out injured/suspended wrestlers
    etc.

anyone who has previously taken part in or would just be interested in booking a show sometime you can always pop into the Discussion thread and put your name forward too as we often have to replace people who cant write it that week

Gonna bump this to see if we can get some more opinion's on BWE

last time ill try bumping this, gotta assume plenty of peole read the BWE thread as it has the same amount of views as the new combined Off topic thread despite having over 900 less posts in it.

So what do you guys think of how the current product is portrayed? who should be getting a push that isnt atm? or who's push should be going differently in your opinions?

there are only 4 regular bookers atm but many many regular posters have booked the BWE so far, their opinions would be also welcome as are all opinions if we can get em

    Okay

I used to write lots and lots of shows.

I always enjoyed working from the last show and trying to set things up for the next person.

Then my internet got screwed, a mixture of a bad network and a misfiring mobile modem.

So a few weeks a go I got my internet modem sorted. I got back online here and thought I would be able to catch up on BWE. But I missed so much I found it a daunting prospect and I got put off catching up!

I will try to catch up in the next week or so.

Well done to the bookers for keeping things running.

if you want to book one there is a mania match there for you. you booked a lot of BWE shows and all the bookers are booking mania although we only have four active bookers atm.

anyone else have ffedback on what they would like to see in the BWE?

I enjoy reading it but been honest there just seems to be too much in it basically ye are doing too good of a job, Personally I would be happy with what Walter did for the Smackdown show with a couple of pics attached.

Miz should be pushed to the moon imho
and maybe bring in stars from other feds i.e mention that e.g Austin Aries had a dark match at smackdown and hint there is a chance of him coming to the BWE

But these are not put downs in anyway as from doing the draft this year I know how tough it is to write up a show, push someone and have a storyline all in one

Cheers campo, like i said in the other thread any feedback at all is awesome, its good to know what people like and dont like and will ultimately make the shows better..

dont worry everything is taken as constructive criticism if your reading then we are obviously doing something decent but its little tweaks like your suggestion of pushing Miz that im looking for.

In relation to that we could do it as although he hasnt had such a prominant position as in the WWE with ShowMiz but I've just introduced his NXT rookie (not danielson as he is already on SD) as Ortunga and he is allied with Maryse. We have been pushing tag wrestling and teams like the Colons, the fighting Irish, The Harts etc and thats why teams like ShowMiz arent in the BWE atm.

I have noticed my BWE posts getting longer but i think thats just been in the build to WM and have often suggested that if we are falling behind spoiler esque posts to cover for a show we have missed to book (like Walter did for SD) is a good way to go and tbh i liked reading that post today.

The ROH idea was discussed before in relation to TNA stars and we decided that we would stay within the parameters WWE have whilst trying to show how their show could be booked better. Thus we had to change plans for McGuinness when we introduced him as news came out he failed his medical and went to TNA.

    any other feedback is welcome

Also maybe introduce a bit of healty competition have the smackdown and raw shows in Separate threads where maybe only BH and Volt does the RAW and D2D and Walter does smackdown

Who ever has the most views then are creating more interest and have two drafts a year where ye get to pick who ye want off each show with out any prior discussion.

Like what flair/mcmahon did a few years ago when the brand split was 1st announced that would through the cat in between the pigeons

good idea although like when someone came into the BWE discussion thread recently and suggested we allow a similar TNA thread as competition (allow may not be ther right word as we said sure if...) im not sure how long it could last. I mean I'm honeslty surprised we have lasted this long having had so many of the bookers change since we began only recently myself and D2D talked about ending it until Walter and Voltwad started doing shows meaning we could continue. Long term plans like that i.e once a year are pretty hard to nail down atm.

as mentioned in earlier posts new bookers are also always welcome along with feedback.

I glanced in and the first thing that I thought was who the **** are the Carolina kids or whatever. I would heavily recommend editing the first page so you have the new tag teams, champs, stables and guys dragged up from developmental as well as those future endeavoured

the Carolina connection are Matt Hardy, R-Trtuth and Helms. You have a point though about maybe editing the current roster into the OP but we havent really deviated too much from the current WWE roster just maybe have a few different tag teams and have already promoted Danielson to the main roster. The recipient of the biggest push so far has been Swagger who won the Rumble and will main event Mania.

Imo, a lot of people not registered on boards are reading the BWE. Atm, the BWE shows thread has 101,499 views. Thats an amazing number (rating:pac:) to have.

I like the TNA vs BWE idea w/votes for best show but we need a lot more writers if that was to go ahead. Maybe having 12 writers (6 vs. 6) but the problem there is keeping that number.

I like Bubs idea of listing the roster in the 1st post in the shows thread. I assume anybody who is just reading the BWE for the 1st time from Page 4 doesn't know who the "Carolina Connection" are

    Any more feedback??
