Things you have realized during study week

    For me it's;
    1) Should have gone to those 9am lectures...turns out they were quite important..
    2) When the lecturer said "this will all be on Blackboard" I shouldn't have switched off or walked out...
    3) Should have made notes in lecturers to understand what was on Blackboard.
    4) Should have logged on to Blackboard at least once a week.
    5) Should have read those books I was told to read... <looks at pile of books on desk and cringes>
    6) Should never have trusted Google translator...too good to be true!
    7) Should have studied over the last while and not have left it until the last minute...

Some changes will be happening in 2010!!

Are you serious? I'd advise at least once a day. Now I'll admit I'm a nerd but still...

This was especially true in the first half of the semester. I would check it multiple times a day and there were many days when there would be new mails every time I checked. Less so in the last few weeks though.

I've learned that I don't know nearly as much as I thought I did.

I've learned that I'm still as bad at being disciplined with study as I was in school.

It's a pretty simple one, should have worked harder.

Pretty much sums up this semester for me.

Especially the discipline thing. I had huge plans for today (well, Saturday, I haven't gone to sleep yet) but still got literally nothing done.

I'm as bad. 2nd year science and I swore that I would be well organised for the sem1 exams this year but didn't start when I should've. Have been working flat out the past 2 and a half weeks to get the questions covered..
Defo not gonna let this happen next semester....

I should be okay for the exams but this cramming thing is a killer esp when there is no need for it..

I've learnt that the good people of Flirt FM will eventually charge me rent if I continue to 'study' there.

Coincidentally, last year's Christmas study week was when I dsicovered I'd rather be on air than head down in the books.

    1) that boards is great for passing time
    2) that going ice skating with friends while tipsy is one of the funniest things you will ever do
    3) that i still havn't discovered how to concentrate longer than the average Goldfish :/

say a prayer for me in these exams please

Seriously did little to nothing. After doing the LC, it's harder to get down to study.

I've learned that I am not magically motivated for my 2nd year exams, like I thought I would be... The procrastination never ends!

    1. I can simulate the Facebook chat "new message" sound with my lips.
    2. Computer labs make me sleepy.
    3. When given the choice between playing Call of Duty and studying, I'll go for Call of Duty on almost every occasion.

    Game of COD?

If you dont have COD for the PC, you can stop reading now.

Actually after exams keep an eye on the COD forum, or perhaps this thread. We've recently been trying to get a few games of COD going every now and then. More the merrier.

I learned that being a postgrad is awesome and being an undergrad is like being a second class citizen.... lol.
