I think you're jumping the gun a bit, the BBC transmitters in your part of the world aren't doing DTT just yet, they've just started on Divis. The nearest transmitter in NI to you is Brougher Mountain which is 29 miles to the SE but it will be a while yet before they start broadcasting digital. For the moment you'll have to be satisfied with analogue if you can pick it up.

Yup, I'd imagine you're getting your BBC signals from Strabane, which has no DTT signals.

Similarly, you get your RTE from your local transposer, which also doesn't have DTT.

Brougher Mountain has been transmitting digital for years but there is not a hope of getting it in Ballybofey in any case.

This is the case for anyone in the town but Limavady can be received if you are South of the river and higher up. This would include anywhere from Meenglass through Sessiaghoneill, Knock, Edenmore, Carn and right down past Gleneely and along the border between Castlefin and Castlederg.

If you can get Limavady, you will proably get Irish DTT from Holywell Hill from the same direction.
