Very light and short period...

Ok, first off, I know it's not a meical thread, but I just want to ask around...

So, my last period, although it was pretty much on time (a day late), was very short, lasted a day and a half, wheras it's usually about 5 days...and was quite light. It'd usually be heavyish most months, but this time it was a bit lighter than usual.

Now, I've been on the pill for quite a few months, and usually also use condoms. Even though lately we've started using them more.

Now in the few weeks before this period, I was in hospital and getting tests one for a stomach problem...so maybe stress could be a factor...although I can't recall being overly stressed.

How normal is this? Anything to worry about? I know there is a such thing as implantation bleeding, but it was almost bang on my due period date. Like, I'm going to wait it out til my next period, which is next week, and hope...but I would love some peace of mind (or even the opposite to make me run and get a test).

I think I may have had a short light period before and though little of it, but this time, I'm more worried
    Thank you.

    hopefully its nothing.
the pill made mine very light, so that can happen. you should read the leaflet you get with the pill, as theres a wide variety of side effects though.
are you worried about pregnancy, if so, then a simple test should tell you, its after your due date after all.
but i think that if you have worries, you should discuss them with your GP or family planning clinic.
