Take a look at the weather forum. Next week and further it seems will be very cold from the east. Snow not unlikely.

    Paddy 4.50
    Betfair 2.18
    Ladbrokes 3.75
    Coral (Eurobet) 6.0

Coral not paying attention? Maybe worth it at 5/1. I put a score on it.

Dunno. The BBC don't seem to think there will be precipitation. The weather forum can get a little excitable at the thought of snow.

Snow in Chicago is 4/5 or something like that. It gets absolutely freezing there during winter so it seems a good 'un to me.

I assume this is snow at Dublin airport. I live on the southside and can remember slush on the ground in 1957 and nothing since (I could be wrong). 25/1 would be about right.

the rules are very specific, it has to be a certain amount and it usually has to be in the airport I believe.
2005 was the only year in recent memory therefore 5/1 is a joke price. easy money for the bookies yet again !
there was snow in 2004 but it didn't settle, hence a losing bet. however, this just in !!! a postman says we have a 90% chance this year, based on criteria he says while he's on his round !!! you might have a winner there so!

Agreed, this is one of the more sensible threads around here.

By the way guys, I mention this last year and it came true. It might again this year, but unlikely.
Paddy power love to pay out bets anyway. It's cheaper than runnign ads in the big papers and they get more coverage. Last year I said to stick it on with paddy, even though snow was unlikely. I was right and they paid out anyway.
Might be worth a shot this year. Although, less likely obviously.

PP spokesman was on radio earlier. Said they are only offering 5\2 now. One of the Met Eireann guys recons it should be 25/1.
