    insurance renewal time again and got my letter yesterday....334 squid from first ireland for 88 1.8gti cabriolet mk1 golf...i think its a little steep for a 6000k limited policy... anyone any recommendations for other companies i should try for a cheaper qoute?

    all insurance is going through the roof they are getting us to pay for their bad share prices ,the end users are picking up the tab as usual

    Try AXA, just got my renewal today also for 2 cars, 83 Kadett D 1.6SR and 73 Kadett B coupe Both for €299.91. Quite reasonable I thought. :)
    Mind you, It is vintage insurance.

    Hey Chief, Try O'Riordan Insurances, in Cork City, you'll have to look up the no. but i can say for me they were dead cheap, TP only cover, restricted 5k miles, €150 a year. Ruth in the lady to deal with, a character.

    rang oriordans today and got a qoute of 303 fully comp 278 3rd party f+t...how did you get it so cheap? i have full no claims and liecence best i could get today was 300 with carole nash on a 4000 limited milage policy
