    Playing away tonight and discovered a great way of annoying the other team. My setup has the stinger as secondary (as I'm usually killed before I can run out of primary ammo and/or can't change weapons quick enough)

    Have been quite a few harriers and UAV kills using the stinger,every point counts when you aren't that good like myself..............however..........twice tonight I was able to get lock on and shoot down the Little Bird chopper BEFORE it dropped the air package.........

    Am loving it, how annoyed must that guy be!!

    I dont bother with the UAV's, I use cold blooded so the enemy team will sometimes just run by, its a good distraction, they will rely to much on the radar.

    I've tried shooting down the care packages but you have only a short amount of time to do it and its near impossibe on hardcore.
    I suppose if you were running around with the stinger you could take a good few out.

    In regards to the UAV, I use cold blooded myself but 50 pints is 50 points! And it must annoy the other team to lose it quickly.

    As regards the airdrops, yes its hard to do. You have to switch as soon as you hear "enemy care package incoming" and it has to be entering the map from your side so it overflys you enroute to the enemy. You need a clear map too. I managed it on RunDown, was up in the mansion up the hill, he popped smoke near the river,got the chopper as it came towards the centre from 'their' side. Probably not possible on Favela, Invasion and Karachi , High Rise and similar.

    I love this. You can imagine some camping b*stard being so happy that he's got a harrier and BANG stinger hits before it can keep his streak going. I love it. As soon as I have it I think Im going to do this too.

    Anyone manage to shoot a ac130 down?say it takes about 3 ****s or so..and that even if ya can hit it with all the flares

    yeah I have taken down the AC130 but you need help from a team mate with stingers

    Seems that the AC-130 has flares to divert the first 2 stingers, while the second 2 can take it down. Not sure if the Javelin has a better chancve of hitting it.

    Personally am going to stick with the stinger. The Javelin has the same stats but seems to take longer to change weapon,aim and lock on. The location lock-on isn't would it in my opinion.
