memory stick problems

    i have a integral memory stick 4gb, splash drive,
    the problem is any time now i try to delete or put anything on the stick it's keeps on saying it is write protected,
    same message pops up when i go to format it,


    does anybody know what the problem is and how to fix it if possible?? or is the memory stick gone??

    there should be a tiny switch on the card slide this to unlock the card as it is write protected

    no theres not, thats the weird thing about it, when i view it in computer management it shows up as read only, is there any way of changing it, or doing any kinda of special format??

    Sounds buggered. Sometimes there is a switch which you can just click back and it takes the write protection off. I dont think you have this option.
