    Hi there,

I was looking at this item :

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001GCRVEE/ref=s9_sima_gw_s0_p23_t1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=1QPEMYX6MNSZHYX7DCMK&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467198433&pf_rd_i=468294

The price is £126.91 + free Super Saving to Ireland ( and it says in the T&C that it *is* free to Ireland ).

So, I click on Add To Shopping Basket and the next screen shows my shopping basket in the corner and the price is £126.91. Then, when I click on 'Proceed to Checkout' it asks me to logon, even though I'm already logged on.

So I type in my details, and the checkout has a price of £134.08, even with the Free Super Saving shipping to Ireland. So, why has the price changed, I can't see any comment abour it anywhere on the screen.

One difference I do see is that the first page says 'Sold By : Amazon.co.uk' and the Checkout Pages says 'Sold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L.'

So, any ideas why the price goes up like that? Thanks...

    Jason.

I had something similar happen a couple of months back and it was to do with the Irish VAT rate being added. Otherwise, don't know!

Yeah I think it's just Irish VAT being applied rather than the UK's rate which is lower than ours.

Hmmm... You think they'd say that somewhere! And I don't mean hidden in small print on a hard to find page.

    Thanks for your replies...

    J.
