Should be in the HE General Forum?

Anyway, did you not get a breakdown on the quote?

Is this only cabling? not sockets/faceplates/ etc.. Did they list what kind of cable i.e. make/type?

Is an electrician doing this or its separate to all lighting, etc...

When we had our house built, and were getting quotes, usually you could be told xx amount per socket installed, that included wiring, sockets, etc..

Often when building it doesn't cost a lot more to run additional wiring e.g. network, satellite, speaker, etc.. as cables are usually being run anyway, so its just a few more cables to pull through.

It's really hard to say based on the information provided, unless you were to provide specifics about every room, and lengths of cable needed, etc..

Probably best to get at least one more quote and compare?

Or you could consider specialist HE installers, and get a quote from them to do it? I believe Richersounds offer this service, and Sevenoaks to name but a few.
