Penalty points expirey

So A quick one for yas.
I received a few points quite a while back. I've lost the lovely letter telling me when I got them and when they expire etc. Insurance crowd want to know for quoting etc. I know they last 3 years but I need to find the dates.

Who do I contact to find this info?
I tried searching online but nothing came back. Hence the thread.

I'll let you know on Monday Vectra but i'd be positive they last 3 years. It'll take me that long to shut up about it anyways!

Before April 2006 you get penalty points for 2 years.
After April 2006 you get penalty points for 3 years.

3 years it is so I think it was around a year ago.

Is it 3 years from the date of the offense, or the date from which the notification is served?

Once you pay your fine your issued a notification letter that the points will be applied in 2 weeks from the date on that notification, so 3 years from then!
