I got a free one with a bottle of Jameson a few weeks ago, in a kinda gift box thing. I'm think they are still doing them, have a look.

    looks like this... http://www.nowtoronto.com/food/story.cfm?content=172680

Edit: actually maybe it isn't free. probably more expensive than just the bottle, I can't remember.

Marks&Spencer are selling them on second floor in their Grafton Street premsies. They were only €13 or so.

I'd suggest the cigar shops in and around grafton street. The decent cigar emporium is up the stephen's green end of grafton st. and by all accounts are very helpful. Having said this, I'm not sure they'll have what you want. there is also that shop in college green that sells cigars and swiss-army knives etc. these should have hip-flasks, but friends have told me the staff were less helpful than the other place. Other than that I'd imagine a jewellers might be able to help. These could be a bit pricey though.

Shops that specialise in tobacco and associated products often have hip flasks too - often in sets with cigarette cases, but also for sale on their own.

I'd have a look in Peterson or Fox.

    Peterson have these: http://www.peterson.ie/pipes/hip-flasks.html

Thanks i'll have a look in Marks & Spencers and around Grafton Street tomorrow. Not looking for anything fancy. A cheap enough one will be grand.

There's lovely hip flasks available in urban outfitters in temple bar. They have cute girlie ones with flowery patterns, and manly leather or steel finishes. great gift.

Ok I know its too late now.

But if I was going for another hip flask, I've two really nice examples, I'd go back to The Irish Celtic Craft Shop on Lord Edward St.
