just phoned the crescent and coonagh. none in stock and never stocked it and have no idea of the offer. ill try a few more tesco's

I saw a Father Ted- Best Of DVD in Tesco for a fiver... Which would probably have a couple of episodes or a clip show on it

must be a pic error on leaflet. it quite clearly is the definitive collection, it even says it on the front cover. i thought the price was too good to be true

Hmm, I wonder if you went in with the leaflet would they sell it to you for that price? Does that count as the misprice thing where they give it to you for free? :pac:

ha ha its worth a go was talking to gf who works in the crescent and while she was walking around tesco's on lunch break she picked up the offer leaflet as she walked in the door (i trained her well:rolleyes:) and she also seen it. but didn't bring leaflet home. just checked on tesco.ie its not there either.

if you do pick up one of the leaflets its on last double page bottom left. there is around 7-8 dvd's all marked at a fiver

I was in Tesco and they had a label Best of Fr Ted €5, but none left.
It's likely this one, http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/106019/Father-Ted-The-Very-Best-Of-/Product.html rather than the full collection.

yes it is that one and there are a couple in Clonmel tesco. i was in Tipp today and got one for a fiver

Went to buy the half price Alaskan Salmon in Mahon point Cork Last Tursday was charged full wack. Went to customer services desk got full refund and kept the salmon. Every little helps!

tesco's advertising is really sneaky.. I also got a shiny leaflet that advertised Ferrero Rocher packs..picture of a 2 x 30-sweet boxes, BIG €7.50 beside them.. small print said 200g
when you go to shop, the 200g boxes (16 sweets) are 2 for €7.50, but the 30-sweet boxes from the picture (375g) are full price at €6.19 each.
