Back in 2007, the very witty and enjoyable Frank Oz directed 'Death at a Funeral' was released. It had a largely British cast and it didn't do particularly well at the box office. I actually really enjoyed it though - Peter Dinklage and (particularly) Alan Tudyk stole the show though!

    Trailer below:

Here we are two years later with the identically-titled 'Death at a Funeral' being released next year.... surely it's a co-incidence. No, it's not - same writer, same general storyline with a largely black cast. But here's the kicker - EVEN Peter Dinklage reappears as the same character from the original film with a presumably identical outcome to the original.

    Trailer below:

I knew Hollywood were running out of ideas... but come on!!

    Absolutely ridiculous!

In fairness, it would appear they have introduced some racist jokes of the kind that would get a white actor arrested should they be reversed, that is bound to improve the movie.

I very much enjoyed the original version, won't bother with this, Chris Rock puts me right off a movie.

I made the mistake of watching "I Think I Love My Wife" recently.

    Holy sweet Baby Jesus!

The only difference between those 2 trailers is that one said "This Summer" and the other said "This Spring".

    Disgraceful!
