Technically Big Show, Khali, JBL, Koslov and Henry aren't over-rated as I'd imagine the majority think they're crap plus Angle, HHH and McGuinness are just ridiculous inclusions so I'm going to go with CM Punk. There's only so many times I can listen to the same promo over and over again plus I've been distinctly underwhelmed with his main event matches.

    STING!

People seem to always look past his God-awful performances in TNA over the past year. That lazy bum has slept/sand-bagged his way through MANY TNA PPVs but he never gets flack. I know his character is great and everyone respects him, but God-dammit, he can't wrestle. IMO AJ managed to motivate/drag Sting to a good match at B4G, and that's been IT for the entire year.

What's that, Joe? You want me to take the muscle-buster for the finish? You've already applied the move but, oh, I FORGOT!:mad::mad:

What really pisses me off is that nobody bloody criticizes his in-ring performances, despite being in THE MAIN EVENT. I don't half hate Nash as much for his awful mid-card performances, but at least he's not in the main event.

    /rant :)

I think it's a little harsh to say he can't wrestle outright. His good matches with Angle and Foley, great matches with AJ and even a decent standard match with Morgan say otherwise. I do agree that he'd be better as a mid carder helping younger talent with occasional main events but to say he can't wrestle based on one blown spot in that Joe match is a little unfair. Plus he's one of the better 50 year old wrestlers around, not near as good as Finlay but most certainly not terrible.

I might be biased (by that I mean I really don't like Sting) but I've thought that all of the PPV matches he's been in over the last were below average. Since many of them are in the main event, it was even more apparent. I thought both of his matches against Joe on PPV were poor, although I did enjoy seeing Joe squash Sting last year. I also thought his match against Morgan was quite sloppy. For such a respected main event veteran, I thought his performances were in the area of Nash and Foley...just very poor in my opinion. It looks like he doesn't give a crap in his matches, he just sleeps through them. It's frustrating because everyone overlooks it or thinks he's a great wrestler :(

I did enjoy his match with AJ and also Angle in that empty match arena.

He shouldn't be wrestling or he should try harder! Wow, did you think Sting Foley was a good match? How do you rate Foley's in-ring work this year?

I thought the Sting/Foley match was good. It's extremely clear that Foley is giving absolutely everything he has in every match and I don't think he's had a terrible year. I enjoyed his matches against Abyss, Angle and Sting plus his match with Nash exceeded expectations and he contributed his fair share to KOTM especially that elbow off the box. While he shouldn't have been near the main events this year, I haven't been insulted by his matches and thought his run with the title was decent.

On Sting though, I agree that he shouldn't be at the the top of the card nor does he always put in as much effort as he should but it's unfair to the man to say he can't wrestle. He's had some good outings this year and he works to a pretty good standard for a 50 year old. I can't really think of many people around here that said he's great, in fact the topic of Sting very rarely comes up around here.

I think it's just I have a far more critical eye on wrestling than yourself. Some of Foley's matches I found appalling, highlighted by his place on the card. I'm glad you haven't been disgusted by the main event scene in TNA this past year as I have been! Many matches had me tearing my hair out in frustration!

"he works to a pretty good standard for a 50 year old" Do many 50 year olds still wrestle? :D That doesn't mean he should be wrestling! (I also didn't like the vast majority of Flair's WWE matches, save his win-or-retire matches)...I say 50-year-olds shouldn't wrestle! (maybe only as a once-off, in my book) (cue Hulk Hogan's music :D)

Don't get me wrong, by no means do I think TNA's main events this year have been of a main event standard, not even near close but I don't think I've been outraged by any of them.

MVP. I just can't get into his matches for some reason. They always seem slow.

honestly i dont know who i voted for by picking others I just know that I would have voted for someone who wasnt on that list as i dont consider any of them as over rated atleast not by the fans, and Kozlov WTF! is this last year.

I guess if i had to pick someone itd be MVP who is yet to convince me he is good enough to make the step up (maybe he just hasnt been given the chance) or Carlito who i actually think isnt as good as Primo although i suppose he is alright on the Mic.

Angle is vastly vastly overrated, especially by this board.

Do you want fries with that tar brush:P?

If the poll had suitable candidates rather then PWI ones we would have a better reflection of opinions.

From past experience, most posters on this board think he's one of the best around. I disagree strongly.
