Yeah just got the email too, I haven't bought anything off wiggle in a while though, it's been all CRC.

They are almost always cheaper. Wiggle sometimes but it is occasional. I generally only buy stuff on special offer from Wiggle these days (this is not to say I don't still buy a lot of stuff from Wiggle.)

A lot of the day to day stuff is starting to become cheaper on wiggle over the past month or two. Large amount of the parts on CRC have gone up in price too. I'd say one the VAT rates change, the price difference on most things will be pretty damn close.

The UK VAT rate change will only affect CRC prices though, as wiggle charge Irish VAT

"Managed" to pull together my (just over) £100 order ... went through checkout ... received confirmation ... then realised I'd fogotten to enter the code!

So, cancelled the order and tried re-ordering. Unfortunately for a couple of the items I had originally ordered the last one in stock. So had to abandon that order.

Eventually (well alright, about 30 mins later) received confirmation of the cancelled order, and the items were back on the website, so went through the whole process again to get my £15 off.

Used the 30 mins to raid CRC and get my 10% off a lot more stuff (NB some of the items were on offer at Wiggle, and were cheaper than CRC before the discounts).

Irish VAT rate is going down so wiggle will get cheaper.
UK VAT rate goes up so CRC gets more expensive.

Wiggle are doing Sidi Genius 6.6 shoes today only for £175, with the £15 off code that is £160. Very good price indeed for that shoe.

I have placed 2 orders (>£100) with Wiggle this weekend, and received my £15 discount on each. Hence if you can break a larger order down into packages that are just over £100 (using code "xmas1-5free") or €100 (code "Xmas0-15EUR") you can maximise the discount (and in theory at least, assuming no individual high value items get an overall discount approaching 15%)
