Im wondering if anyone can help me, Ive booked a flight to miami from shannon with continental good prices - but was wondering about inflight entertainment
does anyone know if they have tvs. ive been on their site but its a bit of a maze, our flight going out is 757 - 200 and we will also be on 757 - 800 series.

If anyone has taken their flights and have any feedback it would be great.

    thank you!

I believe all, or almost all, of the 757-200's now have video on demand for the Transatlantic portion. I assume you mean the second portion of the flight is a 737-800? If so, some aircraft have LiveTV (sattelite TV's) in the seatback which cost $6 to use and have around 70-odd channels. However, they've only rolled it out on a small proportion of the fleet, so you may not have any entertainment on that leg other than overhead monitors.

Transatlantic section will definitely have the seat-back tv's,great selection of movies/tv shows/games etc. Like buffybot said, the flight down to miami may or may not have it. I flew Newark to Orlando return last month with Continental and the flight down had the tv's but return didn't. And as was stated they charge for the tv's on internal flights.

And hang onto your headphones from the flight over to the U.S.,they charge for them on internal flights.

I flew with Continental from Shannon to LA via Newark last year and found them great to fly with. They did indeed have seatback TV's on both legs of the flight and they had a pretty good selection of movies/tv shows/music/games. So there should be more than enough to keep you amused. Our own headphones worked as well. Can't remember if they charged for headpones as we didn't need them.

Also, I know you didn't ask, but the food on Continental is pretty good too! And the staff are lovely :D
