    Hello,
I'm just looking for some advice .. I have a 1997 Micra ( 34k Km) which I want replace with a new Renault Clio.
My question is whether I would be better to sell the Micra privately ( I'm estimating that I would get around €1,500 for this ?? ) or trade it in against the new Renault Clio thus availing of the new government scrappage deal.

All advice would be much appreciated !

    Thank you !

ye deffo trade in 100% Renault are doing great deals, between scrappage and low emmisions, and new model clio, plus u will never get € 1,500 yo yo's for car privately, theres going to be alot of renaults sold in jan 2010, and i presume renault will extend there scrappage after jan.

Fair play to Renault. 3k off a Clio is a great deal. Opel are doing something similar for existing customers with up to €3k off certain models.
