    Hello
Sister is having problems accessing websites at the moment. She is consistingly getting 404 error pages on wide number of sites including Google.com and Microsoft.com. She has no problems using Skype and collecting her Email.

    Her Setup is as follows
    Operating System: Vista
    Browser: Internet Explorer (latest version)
    Anti Virus: AVG
Firewall: Zone Alarm V.8.0 Internet explorer has access to the internet allowed.
ISP: UTVInternet. New UTV supplied Router installed due to previous one developing a fault

Any Ideas as to whats causing the problem?
    Thanks in advance.

A 404 errors is returned by the webserver in question, so your sister is looking for pages that genuinely don't exist. Unless you've reason to believe otherwise, in which case get some screenshots.

I would agree with this. Plus networking seems active threw skype etc.. Sounds like some sort of mailcous code.

    Some suggestions

    >Run a scan
    >Try another Web Browser

    >Maybe your router dosent like the port these sites are communicating on?
