If my memory is correct, Mt. Leinster had Channels 39, 42, 45 and 49. Did a scan this morning and foud Ch.32. Don't remember that from the photos posted a while back!

EDIT: Have now checked and found it also on 22, 25 and 28. Is it too much to hope that they are looking at moving to avoid all co-channel with UK? (Not that it will do me any good ...!!)

    What is your location?

Could it be from a different site? Mullaghanish? Can't see them using two frequencies? If they do use those there will co-channel with Blaenplwyf down the line (I think!?)

Ive got nothing on those frequencies from mt. Leinster. It must be from another transmitter site.

Could be Suir Valley or Dungarvan both of which are now active also.

    Its definately not from Mullaghanish.

BTW Mullaghanish is right now transmitting 'blank MUXes' on channels 24,25 now also 28 on, as well as RTE DTT MUX on 21.
The blank MUXes were not on when I checked yesterday after recent postings that they had reappeared recently on 24 and 25, though were on a few days ago (as posted by someone else).

What does your tv show for these blank mux's.
Ive a sony, and it just stalls on those ch's for a few moments, then continues searching.
    Ch21 comes in ok.

Dungarvan is active with a long time and doesn't use any of those frequencies for DTT

I am in Waterford City, looking at Mt. Leinster. Have checked it on three different devices from the same ariel (Television, DVD recorder and TransEdit scanner from DVBViewer.) On Transedit, all channels are showing the same RTENL mux on a total of eight channels. Just checked them again now, and all are still active.

Will check at home in Tramore later.

More power wasting by a public sector entity in the worst Irish economic crisis since the 1930's/50's. Tut tut!

22, 25, 28 + 32 are in-fill freqs used in various parts of Wicklow for analogue. Could there be signs of intelligence escaping from Montrose?:D

I've just done a rescan on my Mediaportal powered HTPC and picked up a new TV channel coming from Mount leinster , RTE News Now which is a 24 hour new channels only previously found on the web : http://wapedia.mobi/en/RT%C3%89_News_Now

Have now scanned in Tramore and found the carrier but is very weak - I like the theory of an in-fill transmitter for Waterford City - They have the FM radios on In-fill in the city already, so this could make sense.

Having said that, I may have some attenuation on the lower frequencies with my ariel and distribution!! We shall see!

    Under RRC-06 a new Waterford DTT relay was planned with the following channels - 21, 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, 31, 32.

This block of frequencies is also planned for the a new relay at Drogheda, and existing transmitters Mullaghanish, Arklow, Falcarragh and Iorras.

apparently it is/was causing ingress interference to a couple of channels on Waterford NTL/UPC Cable TV in recent days, ironically RTE1 (analogue) worst affected:

have a look at this :)

accoring to a list of Waterford analogue cable frequencies in this thread (5th post):
    http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055766797

RTE1 (analogue) carrier on Waterford cable = 504 MHz (whilst one of the 4 local DTT test is on UHF CH25 - 506MHz centre frequency which mostly overlaps with the affected analog cable channel's RF bandwidth)

I have had confirmation that these channels are in-fill transmissions for the City from the Rathfadden transmission site.
