    Hi guys,

I am looking at getting a mixer.

Basically I am using protools through mbox 2 on macbook pro and looking at getting a mixer to facilitate more imputs to record small acoustic group for live stuff.

Anything reliable with decent preamps that wont break the bank out there?

    Cheers
    Seany

I really like the Yamaha digital mixers. Check out the 2nd hand AW range. You get more than just a mixer. My old AW4416 sounds way better than any of my Pro Tools LE gear.

new line of stuff from Gatt looks to be promising. I'd say you might need to talk to the lads to see what one might suit your needs best.

comes with A/D conversion. You can connect using a USB, rather than relying on your soundcard.
