Edit: No one seems to be interested in this here so feel free to delete this, I would if I could

Basically I ordered tickets for a gig via the online ticket site <uk ticket website> over a month ago. I'll not reveal the name directly.

They were only posted out two days ago and still haven't come. If they don't arrive I have to pick them up at the door.

To me it's not acceptable that they charge me over £6 for a booking fee and a £2.25 transaction fee. Is there any way I can get this back legally? I'm going to demand a refund on this booking and transaction fee? How would I go about this?

I've heard you can claim it back on your credit card, but they put you on their "fruad list", and cant order from them again (totally fine).

Where do I stand on this? Is it legal to claim back on your credit card

Here are some more terrible reviews

Thanks for taking the time to read this

Let's see if I've got this straight because I fail to see the issue here...
    • You accepted the terms & conditions of the website.
    • You then ordered then tickets and paid the booking fee and transaction fee
    • The tickets were shipped 2 days before your OP, 1mth after the order date (some other ticket sites don't issue tickets until the wk before the gig so that customers don't loose them)
    • You have the option to collect tickets at the venue (where you'll be going to anyways to attend the gig) if not received by post.
Booking fee = the fee for them to process your ticket, print your name on it, stick it in an envelope and post it to you, and do it a second time for the doorman if you haven't received it by post.

transaction fee = fee for them and their bank to process your credit card transaction.

By the sounds of it you'll get your tickets in time to attend the gig, either in the post or at the door. So why do you want to avoid paying booking fee and transaction fee, what loss have you suffered? or are you disputing paying any fees?
