live tv on the iphone

    Is there anyway I can get live irish and uk tv on iphone? i know iplayer and tvcatchup only work in the uk, or if i get a uk vpn or ip..but is there any other way?

    Have a look at Orb. You need a PC with a TV card and then you install the orb software which will allow you to view live TV from your PC over the orb web interface. They also have an iphone app which will allow you to view TV direct from your PC.

    Yep have orb alright, but don't think my netbook would do so well with a tv card, plus it's not great anyway as the laptop would have to be on all the time.. I really hope that catchuptv will work on the 19th but have big doubts...
