    Hi All
I am planning to get married this Aug and we want to get married in or near the city (dublin).
Can anyone recommend a nice venue/hotel/private club/restaurant that would cater for between 45-50 people max for a wedding lunch/dinner.
Or can anyone think of a good restaurant that we could book out just for lunch.

    Thanks in Advance

The Shelbourne, the Merrion Hotel, the Unicorn, Fallon and Byrne are the ones that spring to mind for me but I'd say most restaurants would be delighted to cater for 40-50 for lunch.

    Congrats..

La Peniche sounds like it could be nice - it's a canal barge operating on the Grand Canal and would cater for around that size party - meaning you'd have it to yourself - something that won't be the case in a lot of restaurants (given that many will cater for far more than 50 people).

Not sure what the food is like but www.menupages.ie is a good site to get an decent impression of the lay of the land if it's a restaurant you're after.

Fallon & Byrne would be one to go for, I've seen sample images of the function room set up and it is fabulous.
