D.I.D or power city is probably your best bet

Thanks gar, I live in Longford - we've no DID or Power City :( I look around town tomorrow and hopefully I wont have to venture too far in search of them!

Dunne's sell reusable vacuum bags - you just stick the collar from the old bag onto them. They're only €2.99 and they're hanging up in the washing powder aisle. I got a couple of them months ago and they're great.

I'm nearly certain that it uses the "s-bag" which is a bag used by nearly all current Philips, Electrolux, AEG, etc vacuum cleaners.

Nearly any electrical retailer should be selling S-bags.

I wouldn't recommend reusable bags. They can clog up, causing reduction in suction, and probably less hygienic too.
