I've long argued that golf magazines are scandalously priced in this country. Nice to see Golf Digest taking the lead, therefore, by cutting their cover price to €3.95.

Good package this month too with a McIlroy vs Harrington 'Duel on the Lough' DVD included along with a free Golfers Guide To Ireland.

Hopefully Golf Monthly and Golf World et al are taking note, not to mention the many other publishers who sell their wares in Ireland.

That duel has been shown a hundred times on sky sports already. They're making an effort I suppose but they'll most likely up it again in a couple of months. The price is about on par with UK titles in the UK.

Not only that but their full of advertisements which brings the actual reading pages to about 30-40. I normally read a whole magazine (well the articles I’d have an interest in) when I’m in departures in Dublin airport. Did he last Friday with that Irish magazine Fore, which is a pile of rubbish IMO! Like Golf Digest will prob buy this one.

Golf International is the only magazine worth buying in my opinion, great section on amateur golf too.
