I got a low back converter bra for a wedding recently, the strap wraps around your waist, it is very low back, and the shoulder straps can convert to halter.

It was 86 euro though - but i'm sure you can get a cheaper one. Just don't plan on eating while wearing it - the belly band is not that comfy!

    Where did you get it?

In a lingerie shop in Cork (across from Guineys for Cork people) but I'm sure most lingerie shops will have them, unfortunately i cannot remember the brand.

It's especially good as the sides are very low cut also, so there wasn't bits of bra peeking up under my armpits, which I have had before with the Wonderbra...

Oh yeah, Wonderbra do them. I forgot I have one of those as well.

Pop into M&S and talk to one of the ladies in the lingerie department. They're really helpful and they'd be happy to let you try a few things on so you could bring the dress with you and see what works best, if anything!

Other than that, I can suggest stick on bra cups, which you can buy in places like Debenhams and Heatons. I used 'em once and found them good but I'm pretty small in that area so don't need much support!

I had the same problem for my debs. I got a bra in LA Senza was about 35 euro I think. Available in skin colour (or whatever the right name is for that) and black.
It was basically a stick on bra cup. It had like tape at the sides in place of straps to hold it on and hold the girls up. Oh, and no back strap.
Was really comfortable, I wear them all the time now with strapless clothes.

They have those bra converters in La Senza for just over a tenner, really handy. Don't get the cup bra, it sticks to your skin with these awful adhesive parts, hurts like hell!!

I bought this from Littlewoods last year - excellent for halternecks & low backs...

was that one from littlewoods in any way comfortable?

    It was actually!

I thought exactly the same, that the diamantes would be scratchy or sweaty but nope - just like wearing a normal bra!

The have the low back converter in Marks and Spencers for around 10 euro. You can attach it to you favourite multiway bra. There's a pic here. It's actually more secure feeling than it looks.
