just wondering if it is possible to convert wav audio into midi signals....i have recorded live drums (with no click)...i always assumed i could take say the snare track and find some way of converting it to midi signals (say if volume of each hit goes over -5db then a midi hit is created)so the live recorded snare triggers a sample in cubase.....i might be wrong.....any advice appreciated....:)
