Macbook Pro to be updated

Not sure if this is even news to mac boffins, but a little birdy told me the macbook pros are to be updated very soon. In fact they are stocked in shops waiting until the official release date.

Might be of interest to yee.

Who told you?

I seriously doubt it. Apple never release new products this late in the year. And Phil Schiller confirmed as much in October. New MBPs aren't due until February/March.

You may be right, it might not be released till next year. I can confirm though that they are stocked in warehouses.

Regardless, I think the message is dont buy a Pro yet!

while it is unusual for apple to launch anything at this time of the year and it does not seem to be the right frame for an update, stocks of macbook pros to the channel are quite limited. the apple store are shipping ex stock but the resellers are having trouble getting stock..............
