Irish Rail have some good €10 each way fares to various locations throughout the country. Says until 28th November but I booked a train to Cork on 14th Dec and got the €10 fare no problem.

Some good deals on the Northern Line also (to get you crossing the Malahide Estuary again) that will get you a return to Belfast for 2 adults and 4 kids for €50 (help get out of the house over Christmas) or an adult return for just €20

Parents used Belfast today and are on way back at moment.

Just took advantage of this deal, bear in mind that you can book up to 28 days in advance so you can use it almost until the end of January if you book now.
