There is a dedicated GPS forum here where I would imagine you might get a better answer.

Ask one of the mods to move the thread there.

Sorry, I don't know of any.
The Garmin 900T may have an A/V out, but that model is only available in Italy.
If the monitor is used for a reversing camera, then you could consider the Garmin 5000, which has an A/V in, for camera connection? It has a 5.2" across the diag. screen.

One thing though, you're going to need the sat nav somewhere close to a window, to get decent satellite reception, plus somewhere close to you, so you can set your route and hear any directions given.

Have you considered one of the car stereo replacement sets? They come in standard car stereo sizes, and most are fairly easy to install. They have a motorised screen that slides out of the unit, and can be used for dvd playback, and GPS.

I can't help you with further details, as I've only seen these on eBay, but may be worth considering. When not it use, the screen slides back into the unit, very descrete.

Just thinking, there are other ways of doing this, perhaps.

What kind of monitor is it? TV type with RF connector, A/V connector; or PC type connector?

If it has a PC type connector, it may be possible to use a PDA to run the GPS software, and connect it to the monitor. The satellite receiver can be bought seperately, and placed close to a window, very small and descrete.

No, I,ve installed a rear view camera and its moniter is where the old rear view mirror used to be and its got a spare video input connection. A satnav would have been the best thing to use it for. Thanks for the suggestion but after pulling the car apart once to make a pretty descent job (imo) I'd hate to start all over again for a satnav.:)
