Irish only motorway signs?

    anyone seen any more of these around? better brush up on the Gaeilge.

    A complete and utter waste of about 3000 euros of tax payers money per sign, it's no wonder the country's broke!!!!!:(

    Seen them around alright. Where I've seen them the have an english version a little further down from them.

    If a sign exists then it should be both official languages. But there is a case that such signs are not needed. In the UK only the chopsticks sign is used, once it is a motorway then these regulations follow from that.

    Naas road outbound just approaching the red cow junction.

    Does seem a bit of a waste of money. I have seen dual language signs which is fine, but having Irish only signs like this is a bit much.
    I think Irish is fine as a heritage language, but not on it's own on motorway signs. who even understands that? I don't.
