Trade Union Leaders

How happy are the union members with their leaders? The leaders who, during talks, didn't try to protect the lower earners pay and were more interested in saving their own salarys in pushing for unpaid leave.

Is it not time for the Union Members to vote for change within the unions, and new leadership who care for the normal person?

It seems in all walks, the little fellah gets shagged.
I know someone who got little after the last agreement was brought in. Turns out the raise they were fighting for pushed some lower salary workers into a higher tax bracket, so after all the fussin' and a feudin' he came out with an extra euro a week:rolleyes:

Anytime I've commented on the Public Service I've had the lower salary workers in mind.
Not everyone is on 50k as some posters seem to believe.

Shaggers should be locked up and charged with treason.

Well paid, well heeled individuals who chose to ignore the current economic state of the country, to lead the well paid , well benchmarked masses into stupid wage demands.

Ok the general public were not responsible for the white out, but to me, the fact that these imbeciles would seek to mobilise the:

    Relatively best paid(benchmarking)
    Totally job secure
    Best pensioned
    Best conditioned

sector of the workforce to spearhead the fight against the reality that is there, is indicitive of the paucity of ideas, and lack of entrepreneurship and understanding of basic economic principles that pervade amongst the turgid state dependancy state of mind that they wallow in.

You make me sick, you greedy uncaring baxtards.

I think they should, the governments cuts in the media just now are fairer than what the unions would have fought for if your lower paid.

That they are feeding from the same trough as the rest of them thanks to Bertie!

I can't understand where these guys think they get the entitlement to direct how our economy is handled.

I'm sick to death listening to Blair Horan, in particular, say that he thinks this is the wrong way to get out of recession. Show me your qualifications that lend credability to your beliefs??

I wonder will these leaders cut their wages to reflect the cuts in their members. Brilliant budget for them as they are private sector works in effect. They don't lose a penny.
