    not sure if this is the right place..

    how does a butchers training take place, is it a fas run apprenticeship or just in shop training

    It takes place in college i did mine in DIT Dublin (Mountjoy square).I was working at the time and doing a day release the course is called Meat technology covers a range of things including practical/farming its the only way you can certified although you could get instore training but nothing official.
