does it have to be champagne?
you'd get a much better bottle of cava for the price of a cheap bottle of champagne.

Yep, go for Freixenet Cava, it'll be in a black bottle, you'll get it for E17-18 in most offies. A far better alternative (and cheaper) than lower quality champagnes.

Or get a Proseco or a Cremant.

If u want a nice present go for the Champagne ... always a classier image and unless you know your Cava or Preseco you could buy a dog.

You don't get bad Champagne just it's sometimes over priced ;)

Tesco's have a less than half price champagne at the minute.

Name: A. Carpentier with a gold label €18.99 which is a great price.

I've had it before and is very presentable.

And O'Briens were doing a deal on Mumm a while back but not sure if it is still. Was €35 but €10 off so a great deal at €25.

    Have checked their site

Beaumont des Crayères Grande Réserve NV Champagne for 27.99
