I was wondering as their prices seem considerably lower than other sellers such as waltons, thomann, x music etc.

I would be interested in finding out about the reliability of their after sales service, refund policy, ability to honor guarantees etc.

The Uk is the way to go my friend to buy gear as the euro is so strong against the pound that you can get a great deal from buying from the a uk dealer.
Ive dealt with alot of dealers in the uk but never the GAK but ive heard they are very good to deal with.

I've bought a few things from GAK but nothing has broken on me and everything I ordered was delivered promptly so I have no idea what their after sales service, ability to honour guarantees or refunds policy is like.

I ordered from them recently and let me tell you, it was a ****ing nightmare. I dont know if the postal strike was to blame but if it was il order from them again, if it wasnt, il stay away.

I first contacted them by phone, and they gave me a quote cause i was buying in bulk, and they gave me a good discount. When i phoned them two weeks later, they said my representitive had no recollection of ever talking to me...despite having a quote number and a name. I paid a little more and gave them my address. Then I gave them my details n waited for 2 days. Nothing came, i phoned them the forth day they told me my address doesnt match on my credit card i gave them and they sent me a letter to confirm this. The only difference on my credit card address and the address they sent the letter to, was malahide was spelt with 2 ****ing ls. So i phoned them and asked what was going on, they said they wud send the stuff since everything was correct, about 4 days later nothing came again and we phoned them and asked wat was going on. Apparently it got lost during shipping. SO i phoned them for like the 5th time and said what was wrong with my order and finally we got a contact from the bloody mail order manager and he gave us details, and instead of waitin 2 days like my original priority order i paid for, it was sent with economy and i waited four days, when it came i got the wrong cable, i got some random cheap ass ****e that was thrown in with the guitar that broke after 2 days of use and i never got the case i ordered either. All in, about 18 days wait, about 8 emails and 8 phone calls...
