Where to buy a good quality fabric sofa

I have just moved into a new house and am in the process of buying furniture for the living room. I am interested in getting a 3 seater and 2 seater fabric sofa. I am thinking along the lines of a nice wheat colour one.

Im living in Cavan so was thinking of going up north to look for one. Can anybody recomend a good place to look either north or south? I had a look on Reids website but there is a 9 week wait for sofas. I want to get one for the first week in January so Im thinking of gettin it in the sales just after xmas.

My budget is €1000.

go down to Enda in Grousehall Furniture in Loughduff (the Granard side of Ballinagh) He has lovely furniture, good quality & realistic prices. You can pick from a ton of books to which fabric you wont (not just a selection of 6/8) and he'l deliver it to ya.

I've done a good bit of business with him now and i've been very happy with everything so far. Still have stuff to get for the house, so i'll be calling on Enda when the time comes.

Try a furniture auction; some very good upholstered furniture is available.
Get items which do not require recovering.
