External Hard Drive Format

Hey folks, picked up a WD 500GB external drive after a post in BA. It's current format is NTFS, does it have to be changed to FAT32 to work with PS3 slim?

Try plugging it into the PS3 first as mine formatted the drive for me.

If that doesn't work then yes, you will have to format the drive

Download a thing called swissknife should format it to fat32 in no time and its also pretty handy for formatting half and half, which comes in handy when you've file over 4 gigs and want to transfer it.
