Phil Kieran has been in the upper echelons of the electronic music scene for more than a decade now, but has just released his debut album, ”Shh”, under his own name. The album is formulated in a completely fresh and futuristic way, listen carefully and you can detect elements of dub reggae, old hardcore (LFO), hip-hop and early 90’s electronica like Autechre and Black Dog. Known for rocking clubs as a DJ and releasing a string of killer twelves as a producer, Belfast born Phil has hooked up with Sven Vath’s legendary Cocoon label for this ground breaking release, which is gaining plaudits from all over the World:

“Shh” is an astonishing piece of work, with all Phil’s production talents finally coming together in the right way (10/10)” - DJ Magazine
“My favourite album of the year” - Oliver Huntermann
“Killer album, my full support” - DJ Hell
“Awesome. Modern and retro, warm and personal” - James Holden
“Phil has taken it to another level with this outstanding piece of electronic music” - David Holmes.

And now Phil is spending the next 12 months taking his new music on a live tour of the World. The tour has already visited Fabric (London), Cocoon (Frankfurt), The Loft (Barcelona) and Shine (Belfast), and continues with dates in South America, USA, Australia, and Europe. The live show is both an audio and visual extravaganza, with Phil wearing a specially designed set of glasses to replicate the visuals on stage (visit the You Tube links below), so eat your hearts out Daft Punk and Orbital ! The good news for Phil’s many fans in the South East, is that the tour’s only date in the Republic takes place at Electric Avenue’s extended Loft on Saturday 12th December, with support from Niall Power and admission is just €10. Don’t miss !
