Has anyone been following this ? I just saw my first show this evening - I thought it sounded terrific.

I saw The Fall and My Morning Jacket , both I'm not really familiar with but both impressive on this.

I believe producer Nigel Godrich is involved.

Watched a couple of episodes on Sky Player on xBox 360

Thom Yorke and Albert Hammond Jnr were on, very good.

Also sone Scandi band called Envelope or something? Never heard them before the show but sounded fantastic!

Yup, been watching it for ages. Almost every show is fantastic, my own favourites are probably the Radiohead one, PJ Harvey and Fleet Foxes. Though The Fall doing "I'm a fifty year old man" is a sight to behold, got to love Mark E. Smith. My Morning Jacket were excellent too, such a great band. I think pretty much every show is up on the official website. And yes, Godrich is involved, I believe he organises and curates the whole thing. And it might even be his basement.

did kieran hebden (four tet) do one of these a long time ago? Or was that something else curated by Godrich?

site is a bit temperamental, should be working links to a good few videos though.

some great stuff all right, they were first available through itunes, last year I think? can't recall.

as far as I know Godrich does the engineering/production. Most sessions are done in one of the beeb studios.

Yeah, that series has been repeated a few times now. Is great. Sky Arts is actually an excellent channel. Loads of really cool music docs on there almost every day.
