    Hello everyone,

So i'm taking my dear friend to dinner this Friday. It's a belated birthday present; we would love somewhere nice and not pricey... €40 for a two course meal and maybe a glass of wine;) pushing it?

We want to eat somewhere on the South side of the city center
    1. Wagamama- there regularly so not keen
    2. Saba- been there 3 times; food there was ****e!
    3. BrassiereSixtySix - service is horrendous!
    4. Leon - nice but not mad...
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

Try the millstone on Dame Street across from the central bank.I had a lovely pre concert meal there.

Little Caesars off Grafton St and Da Pino on Parliament St would be my recommendations, can't beat a good pizza or pasta.

Thanks everyone who's posted so far, we really wanted to try something new this time but we're going back to Leon's on Exchequer st... Superb menu, good service and nice atmosphere..

I think we should have a restaurant guide/places to eat in Dublin sticky :D
