Using Fetac in CAO

I completed a 2 year course in Pulse Recording College last summer (09).
The course was City and guilds and FETAC based, with modules in sound engineering, music tech etc. Along with some specialist qualifications (Pro Tools, Logic and Final Cut)

Unfortunately, job hunting isn't proving too prosperous these days, so I've decided to get back to college and further my qualifications.

Since pulse was interview based, I didn't enter a CAO form during my leaving cert year.
This has left me completely clueless as to how to go about entering another college at this point.
I've read that I can use my FETAC modules to caculate my CAO points, and could like to go through it this way.

Does anyone have any advice/information that could help me?

    Thanks.

In order to use the FETAC route via the CAO and apply to colleges in the CAO system its important to check if you have a full FETAC Award and not just a number of FETAC modules. A full award would use letters eg EMPAX etc.

Once you have identified this, then select the course you would like to apply for and see does your award qualify you for entry - some courses in the CAo are linked to specific FETAC codes - see www.cao.ie Information for FETAC applicants or contact the Admissions Office of the relevant IoT or university directly.
