Which one of these would you buy? im thinking Samsung... http://www.powercity.ie/?par=10-27 any other recomendations would be great, its a present for my wife and she just uses a laptop for internet.

if she really only uses it for internet browsing,then the laptop you refereed to would do just fine. Dont think you would get many laptops cheaper than that price anyway.

the N130 is a grand wee laptop by all accounts, the only thing is that it has a really really crap mono speaker, so wouldn't be great for streaming TV or that.
